Sunset Plume — Long Kaftan

Feathers and fronds in marigold, sky and chartreuse, thrown across a field of burnt orange. Plumes, quills and small leaves overlap at every angle with no order imposed on them, and the orange ground burns through the gaps. Warm, loose and unmistakably late in the day.

Long Kaftan — Cut full and fluid to just above the ankle — a maxi-length dress, with deep kimono sleeves and an unstructured line that skims rather than clings. Over a swimsuit at noon; with a heel and a gold cuff after dark.

Mini — Falls to mid-thigh — a dress in its own right, with soft kimono sleeves and a relaxed, unstructured line. Wear it alone, belted or loose, or layer it over trousers, denim, or a slip skirt for a longer look.

Top — The shortest of the three, hitting at the top of the thigh, just below the waist, with a wide boat neck and fluid kimono sleeves. Sharpest over something high-waisted — wide-leg trousers, a column skirt, good denim.

Printed on mulberry silk. One size, generously cut. Cool hand wash or dry clean.
